The countdown to RE+ Las Vegas is on, and the Energy Toolbase team is excited to return for our 12th appearance at RE+. As one of the industry’s premier events for solar and storage experts, RE+ provides the perfect opportunity to connect with developers, EPCs, asset owners, and energy professionals who are shaping the future of distributed energy.
This year, we’re excited to show off some of our upcoming Microgrid features. Microgrids play a critical role in delivering resilience, reliability, and energy cost savings. At RE+, we’ll be showcasing several new capabilities designed to help developers model, evaluate, and manage increasingly complex projects.
Come see us at Central Hall Booth #C6744 to get a firsthand look at the latest features across ETB Developer, ETB Controller, and ETB Monitor.
Explore Our New High-Fidelity Microgrid Modeling Interface and Expanded Microgrid Solution
We have several exciting features to demonstrate as part of our comprehensive microgrid solution, including a mockup of our new high-fidelity microgrid modeling experience within ETB Developer.
This redesigned interface enables users to:
- Add and manage multiple loads within a single site
- Model inverter banks and system interactions
- Perform ride-through analysis
- Evaluate resiliency scores
- Incorporate backup generators
- Assess PV curtailment impacts
By providing a comprehensive view of connected systems, the new workflow streamlines advanced microgrid design and analysis while making complex projects easier to understand and optimize.
Also, we’ll preview our predicted outage functionality for ETB Monitor that brings operational intelligence to deployed microgrids. The upcoming feature will display predicted utility outages for microgrid sites to help identify potential grid disruptions before they occur and better prepare site resources to maintain operations during outage events.
These new features build upon Energy Toolbase’s expanding microgrid solution, helping customers design, deploy, operate, and optimize resilient microgrid systems with greater confidence and visibility.
Generate Smarter Load Profiles with Our Load Profile App
One of the newest additions to ETB Developer is our enhanced Load Profile App. It allows users to see utility bill impacts based on project-specific inputs like EV charging revenue and cost calculations. This enables users to quickly create realistic load scenarios and understand the financial impact.
New Coincident Peak Optimization Capabilities in ETB Developer
Our latest optimization enhancements now allow Measure of Effectiveness simulations to account for Coincident Peak charges across major energy markets, including:
- PJM
- ISO markets
- ERCOT
- MISO
This new capability helps developers more accurately quantify the value of energy storage projects by incorporating coincident peak strategies directly into project economics and optimization workflows.
Simplified Battery Energy Storage System Selection
We’ve redesigned and improved the way users of ETB Developer select energy storage hardware systems within the platform. This makes it easier to evaluate available energy storage vendors and models while ensuring projects meet site requirements, incentive eligibility criteria, and compliance considerations like FEOC requirements.
Energy Toolbase & CPower Speaking at the Storage Central Theater
Don’t miss Energy Toolbase’s speaking session at RE+. Our Energy Toolbase team, including Scott D’Ambrosio, VP of Sales, and Quinn Laudenslager, VP of Strategy, along with Russ Newbold, VP/GM of Distributed Energy Growth for CPower, will present: Unlocking Full Project Value: Co-optimize Behind-the-Meter Assets for Maximum Revenue from Start to Finish.
This session will explore strategies to unlock the full economic value of solar and storage projects through co-optimization. We’ll look at software solutions, value stacking, grid services revenue, and real-world examples that provide actionable steps for developers wanting to optimize their energy assets.
This event will be held at the Storage Central Theater, West Hall on Wednesday, November 18th at 12:30-12:55 P.M.
Connect with us for Happy Hour!
After a full day of sessions and networking, come join us at Booth #C6744 at Central Hall on Wednesday November 18th, from 5-6 P.M., to enjoy refreshments, connect with fellow industry professionals, and learn more about the latest developments across the Energy Toolbase platform.
